Caitlin Kasmar is an associate in the Washington, DC, office of BuckleySandler LLP. Ms. Kasmar represents financial services industry clients in a wide range of litigation matters, including class actions, internal investigations, and government enforcement actions. Ms. Kasmar has litigated cases arising under the Fair Housing Act, the Equal Credit Opportunity Act, the Civil Rights Act and unfair and deceptive trade practices statutes.
Following law school, Ms. Kasmar clerked for the Honorable Rebecca Beach Smith of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. Ms. Kasmar received her J.D. in 2004 from the University of Chicago Law School, where she was a member of the law review. Ms. Kasmar received a B.A. (magna cum laude) from Carleton College in 2000.
