Carla Levinson provides corporate and regulatory advice to mortgage and consumer finance companies, banks, other financial institutions, and other business entities. Ms. Levinson focuses on capital market transactions (including purchases and sales of mortgage loans and servicing rights), corporate governance, corporate reorganization, outsourcing arrangements, and joint ventures. She also advises clients on compliance with state and federal laws, including those governing licensing, usury, disclosures, privacy, and electronic commerce.
Ms. Levinson serves as BuckleySandler’s Firm Development Coordinator.
Ms. Levinson was a member of the Editorial Board of the Virginia Journal of Law and Technology. Prior to joining BuckleySandler, Ms. Levinson was an associate with Goodwin Procter LLP.
Ms. Levinson was made a member of the Virginia Chapter of the Order of the Coif in 2001 and a member of Phi Beta Kappa in 1994. She received a J.D. from University of Virginia School of Law in 2001 and a B.A. from Emory University in 1995.
