Jeff Naimon is a partner of BuckleySandler LLP. Mr. Naimon focuses his practice on regulatory, litigation/enforcement, transactional and legislative advice to a variety of financial services providers, including banks, mortgage and consumer finance lenders and servicers, and insurers, and investors in both financial services companies and the assets that they generate.

Mr. Naimon assists with structuring operations, performing specialized regulatory due diligence on acquisition targets and candidates for outsourcing transactions, defending consumer litigation and government enforcement matters, negotiating transactions (including acquisitions and JVs); providing advice on fair lending issues and investigations; drafting and reviewing consumer disclosures; drafting legislative or regulatory language or advocacy papers. He assists companies with structuring acquisition and investment transactions in the financial services arena to minimize the time necessary to close the transaction, and assist in obtaining necessary change of control approvals.

Mr. Naimon advises on the entire panoply of banking and consumer finance statutes, including the National Bank Act, the Home Owners’ Loan Act, the Truth in Lending Act, the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Equal Credit Opportunity Act, the Fair Housing Act, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the privacy provisions of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, and state laws governing lending, servicing, collections and unfair and deceptive acts and practices.
