Bob Pokusa is Senior Counsel at BuckleySandler LLP. Mr. Pokusa's practice at the firm focuses on complex civil litigation, corporate governance and regulatory affairs.
For the past eight years Mr. Pokusa has served as General Counsel and Secretary to Star Scientific, Inc a NASDAQ Global Markets public company. Mr. Pokusa continues to act as General Counsel and Secretary of Star Scientific, in addition to his role as Senior Counsel at BuckleySandler.
Prior to joining Star Scientific in 2001, Mr. Pokusa has been associated with Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP; Perito, Duerk &Carlson; Finley, Kumble, Wagner, Hiney, Underburg, Manley, Meyerson & Casey; and Washington, Perito and Dubac.
Mr. Pokusa received a J.D. from The American University, Washington College of Law and a B.A. from Montclair State University.
