Litigation Associate

BuckleySandler LLP currently is seeking candidates with one to six years of experience for litigation associate positions for its Washington, DC office. A demonstrated interest in litigation is required; litigation and/or government enforcement experience focusing on white-collar crime or consumer financial services is a plus, as is a judicial clerkship or internship experience. Candidates must have superior academic performance and strong persuasive writing skills. Mid-Level Corporate/Transactional Associate

BuckleySandler LLP currently is seeking candidates with three to five years experience for a mid-level corporate/transactional associate position for either its Washington, DC or New York office. Experience with transactions involving secured lending, banking mergers and acquisitions, and/or consumer financial services is a plus. Candidates must have demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and work independently, superior academic performance and strong persuasive writing skills. Candidates should have significant deal experience, including drafting and negotiating various agreements (mergers and acquisitions, outsourcing, joint ventures, etc.) and managing due diligence assignments. Banking and Financial Institutions Regulatory Associate

Part-time Librarian

BuckleySandler LLP currently is seeking a part-time librarian to be based in our Washington, DC office. The librarian will have primary responsibility for managing the firm’s library and research services, including overseeing our main library in our DC office, as well as remotely managing our small collections in our Los Angeles and New York offices. Specific responsibilities will include ordering and maintaining library materials, managing the library budget, working with our accounts payable team to ensure timely payment for library materials and electronic research tools, and managing our Lexis and Westlaw accounts. Current students in Catholic University’s School of Library and Information Science specializing in Law Librarianship, as well as graduates of this or similar programs, are encouraged to apply. Due to our specialized areas of practice, our library collection is smaller than most other law firms of our size and will thus provide a good environment in which students can develop their law librarianship skills. The librarian’s schedule can be flexible to accommodate class schedules. We currently expect approximately 15-18 hours per week, although preference may be given to candidates with the ability to work more hours as our firm and library needs continue to grow.
