Transaction monitoring and data sharing procedures will lead scrutiny agendas for regulators, legal experts claim, and companies must be primed to expect "any business done now to be raked over in five years' time."
Michael Zeldin, special counsel in BuckleySandler's Washington, D.C. office and a principal in the firm's financial crimes practice, said the message was clear.
"It's important for people who are trying to bring their programs into compliance with regulatory expectations to understand both the black letter of the law of the regulations and also how the regulators are interpreting the law.
