Veteran General Counsel John Redding Joins BuckleySandler’s Expanding Financial Services Practice

Los Angeles (March 28, 2011) – John Redding, a long-time counsel to financial services companies, has joined the Los Angeles office of BuckleySandler LLP to further expand the firm’s industry leading financial services practice.
Redding, who joined BuckleySandler as Counsel on March 21, has over 18 years experience representing financial service companies in both litigation and regulatory matters. Most recently, he served as general counsel to several companies, including software company Retail Pro, Inc., where he established in-house legal operations, helped the company resolve an SEC investigation and assisted in a corporate turn-around that resulted in an asset purchase agreement as part of a pre-packaged Chapter 11. Prior to that, Redding served as Associate General Counsel at Accredited Home Lenders, Inc., Encore Capital Group and Midland Credit Management, Inc., where he oversaw regulatory, compliance, loan origination, servicing and debt collection matters for the legal department.
