Biography

David Lee Morrow II is a regulatory attorney in the Washington, DC, office of BuckleySandler LLP. Mr. Morrow assists clients in the financial services industry, primarily in litigation, regulatory and compliance matters. He provides litigation support and assists with large scale document reviews and productions related to complex litigation.

Mr. Morrow received his J.D. from Elon University School of Law in 2010, where he was a NAACP Legal Defense Fund (LDF) Earl Warren Scholar and Elon Scholar.  During law school, he clerked for the Honorable Patricia Timmons-Goodson of the North Carolina Supreme Court and the Honorable James Wynn of the North Carolina Court of Appeals (now on the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit). Following law school, Mr. Morrow worked for the Honorable Anna Blackburne-Rigsby of the District of Columbia Court of Appeals. He received his B.A. from Elon University in 2007, where he was a Presidential Scholar and a NAACP LDF Herbert Lehman Scholar.

Mr. Morrow is the Community Service Committee Chair for the Young Lawyers Division of the National Bar Association (NBA) for 2012-2013. As Chair, he is responsible for the development of pro bono and philanthropic activities for NBA members nationwide. He is also the current Treasurer of the Young Lawyers Division of the Washington Bar Association. Recently he was selected by the American Bar Association for a Young Lawyers Division “Minorities in the Profession” Scholarship for the 2012-2013 bar year.
