Veena Viswanatha is counsel in the Washington, DC, office of BuckleySandler LLP. Ms. Viswanatha represents corporate and individual clients in a variety of litigation and enforcement matters, including complex civil litigation and government enforcement matters.
Prior to joining BuckleySandler, Ms. Viswanatha was a litigation associate at Cravath, Swaine & Moore, where her practice focused on antitrust and securities matters. Her representations included FTC, SEC, shareholder demand, and internal investigations, as well as antitrust, securities, shareholder derivative, employment, breach of contract, and merger-related litigation.
Ms. Viswanatha received her J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 2009 (cum laude). During law school, she interned for the Honorable Jerome Simandle in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and served as an Articles Editor for the University of Pennsylvania Law Review. Ms. Viswanatha received her B.A. from Rutgers College in 2003 (magna cum laude).
